1960, Reggio Emilia
Paola De Pietri was born in 1960 in Reggio Emilia, where she lives and works. Graduated at DAMS at the University of Bologna, she has dedicated herself to photography from the 90s. Many are the projects of public commissioning – observation of the landscape as also reflection on social dynamics – in which the artist is involved, promoted by Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea of Cinisello Balsamo and by Linea di Confine of Rubiera. Her works have been presented in important exhibitions in Italy and Europe. Personal exhibitions to be noted: “Spazio Aperto” at GAM of Bologna, 2001; the one at Centre de la Photographue of Lectoure, 2004; “La Nuova Casa” at the Centro Internazionale L.
