Casali, De Pietri, Frapiccini, Jodice, Leotta, Musi, Nicosia
As part of the Fondazione Fotografia project, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Modena presents a new exhibition of the third group of Italian works which have entered its collection. The protagonist are seven artists born between the 1960s and the 1980s.
By the side of nationally and internationally known figures, such as Paola De Pietri, Francesco Jodice, Pino Musi and Carmelo Nicosia, three up-coming artists are included: Lorenzo Casali, Eva Frapiccini and Renato Leotta, chosen during the second edition of the Special Italia acquisition programme.
The exhibition is constituted by 70 works: photographs, videos and installations, amongst which more than 50 have become part of the collection. A peculiarity of the exhibition is the heterogeneity of the styles and of the presented researches, dictated by different approaches to the photographic medium and to the visual codes of the image.
