Fondazione Fotografia pays particular attention to high school students and organizes many educational activities and initiatives aiming to develop an image culture and to support new research in the field of visual arts.
GUIDED TOURS TO THE EXHIBITIONS
When exhibitions are on view, Fondazione Fotografia proposes to high school students free guided tours especially conceived for them. According to the themes presented, these visits offer the opportunity of getting to know and of reflecting on the different visual codes and the implications of image, on the artists’ work and the importance of photography on contemporary culture.
Schools of any kind and order have free access to exhibitions even when accompanied by a FF guide.
It is possible for schools to book guided tours outside the official opening hours of the exhibition.
GUIDED TOURS FOR TEACHERS
For any major exhibition on schedule, Fondazione Fotografia organises a meeting, for teachers only, who are invited to take a special guided tour centred on the works, themes and researches proposed by the artists and supply them with all necessary cultural instruments in view of a subsequent involvement of their students within the teaching programme.
In collaboration with the local Art Institute “A. Venturi”, Fondazione Fotografia promotes a video and photographic contest open to all students attending the 5th year of secondary school in Emilia Romagna.
